INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE
A central objective of praelocutio.exordium.prolusio is to create meaningful exchange among practitioners working across different cultural, educational, disciplinary, institutional, technological, and professional contexts.
The international cohort enables participants to encounter distinct artistic and technical perspectives, compare methodologies, and examine how experimental practices are conditioned by specific histories, infrastructures, resources, traditions, and working environments. International exchange is understood not as the passive representation of difference, but as a process of attentive listening, translation, negotiation, testing, and shared inquiry.
Because the program extends across several months, relationships develop through repeated artistic contact rather than brief professional encounter. The residency supports connections that may continue beyond the festival through future works, collectives, research, technologies, platforms, or artistic dialogue.
